Kaitlynn Watts, daughter of Don and Lisa Watts, is a freshman at Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant. Kaitllynn was honored to be the first annual recipient of this award; however, she is even more excited to see the scholarship grow and to see many other youth benefit from this exciting opportunity. Kaitlynn wishes to express her sincere appreciation to the BHAM family!

A WORD ABOUT THE JR. BHAM SCHOLARSHIP by Kaitlynn Watts

The BHAM Youth Scholarship was created to benefit those outstanding youth who excel in the classroom as well as in the show ring. If you have shown with BHAM for at least one year, are now in the 14-18 year old division of either ABRA or All Color classes, have qualified for year-end awards and the Jr. BHAM year end gift, and have at least a 3.0 grade point average than this may be an opportunity for you! The BHAM scholarship can be used at a community college or a university of your choice. BHAM graciously awarded me the 2007 Youth Scholarship. The scholarship was used to pay for my books this semester as well as part of my room and board. This year BHAM is looking for another outstanding youth to assist him or her with college expenses.
